Independent introduction service · Portland, Oregon
The seat you advertised can be filled in one to two weeks.
We are not the placement company. We introduce you to one: a managed service that keeps a pool of vetted, full-time remote staff, employs the person and runs payroll. You interview the shortlist they send and pick the one you want. The agreement and the monthly per-seat fee are with them, not with us.
If you are here from a note about the role you posted, this page is the whole picture. The button opens the provider's page and carries our referral code: they pay us a commission if you sign up, and it costs you nothing.
45 seconds. It plays on this page, nothing to install.
- Vetted before you see them
- Full-time, your hours
- First day within two weeks
Why the seat is still open
You wrote the ad. You paid to post it. And the work is still landing on you at nine at night.
The shortlist
Two people worth calling back
One wanted more than the role is worth, one stopped replying, and forty others were never going to fit. Free boards bring volume, not fit.
The decision
A local hire is a big commitment
Full time at local wages, plus employer taxes and benefits, for work that does not need to sit in your building. So the decision slides to next month.
The cost today
You are the one covering it
Screening, phone tag, chasing references, then doing the work yourself at night. That is the ten-dollar-an-hour job you started a business to stop doing.
None of that is a hiring problem. It is a sourcing problem: one place, one price, one timezone, and a shortlist instead of a pile.
How the placement works
Three steps, and you stay the one who decides.
You describe the seat
One paragraph is enough: the tasks, the hours, the tools, the coverage you need. No job description to rewrite, no spec sheet.
They send a shortlist
They screen out the things that break a placement: people who switch jobs every few months, unclear spoken English, and answers a chatbot could have written. After that screening they hand you three or four candidates. This is a placement, not another job board.
You interview, you pick
You meet a small shortlist, choose the one you want, and they start inside one to two weeks. You never become an employer: the provider employs them and runs payroll.
What the day to day looks like
The person works full-time, in your tools, on your priorities, in the hours your business needs. The provider handles employment, payroll, equipment standards, VPN and accountability. You direct the work; you do not administer a hire.
What it costs, and who pays it
You sign with the provider, not with us. Here is who charges what.
What the provider charges
The provider bills monthly, per seat, and their published rate starts at $11 an hour for a full-time role. Compare that with the same forty hours at local wages once employer taxes and benefits are counted. Their current rates, terms and refund policy are on their page, which every button here opens.
What we get
If you sign up with the provider after clicking through from this page, they pay us a commission. It costs you nothing, it does not change their price to you, and it is not a service fee we bill. We never handle your payment, your account or your data: you deal with them directly.
Who this is for, and who it is not for
It fits
A role that is administrative or customer facing and does not need to be in your building: reception and front desk, admin and scheduling, bookkeeping support, inbox and follow-up, customer service, back office. Businesses in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and France.
It does not fit
Work that has to happen on site, in one city, or under a local licence. A start date of tomorrow: this is one to two weeks, not one day. And if there is nobody you can hand anything to, fix that first.
Questions people ask
Is this a staffing agency or a virtual assistant company?
It is a managed service: the provider employs the person, runs payroll and accountability, and you direct the work. You do not take on an employee, and you do not manage the employment side.
Do I have to screen anyone?
You interview the shortlist they send. That is the whole point: the filtering happens before you see the people, so you are not reading a hundred applications again.
Full time, or part time?
Full time is the usual placement, and it is what the monthly price is built around. Part-time seats exist at a lower monthly rate if the role is smaller.
Where are the people, and do they work my hours?
The provider is United States based and United States led, and places people who work your hours, largely from the Philippines, Latin America and South Africa. They also hold customers in Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and France.
Are you the provider?
No. We employ nobody and deliver nothing here. Holmrow is an independent introduction service: we make the introduction, and the provider does the work and bills you directly. They do not endorse us, and we never ask for logins or payment details.
What if it is not a fit?
Say so in one line and we close it out. There is no contract with us and nothing to cancel.
See the seats they place, and what they charge
The next step is the provider's own page: the roles, how the vetting works, current pricing and their terms. Read it before you decide anything.
Go to the provider's pageYou stay on this page until you click. The link carries our referral code, which is what pays the commission described above. We are not the provider and they do not endorse us.
What we are, and what we are not
We are an independent introduction service. We do not employ the people who do the work, we do not deliver it, and we do not support the service you buy: that belongs to the provider, under their terms and their refund policy. We may earn a commission when someone we introduced signs up, at no extra cost to them. We promise no particular outcome, and we never ask for logins, payment details or access to your clients.
